News: 9th ITCN Asia 2009 Int’l Exhibition & Conferences commenced today at Karachi Expo Centre by Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd in support with the Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunications, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Ministry of Industries Sindh, City District Government Karachi (CDGK), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Board of Investment (BOI), Government of Pakistan, Small & Medium Enterprise Development Authority and Jamal’s Yellow Pages of Pakistan.
The Exhibition is scheduled from 11-13 August 2009.
From its inception in 2001, ITCN Asia, now being organized for the 9th consecutive year, has grown up as the biggest IT & Telecom extravaganza of Pakistan. Most powerful brands of the world are showcasing their state-of-the-art products and services allowing the user community to get exposure to a wide range of technology and solutions under one roof. Most importantly, it is providing an opportunity for business-to-business alliances, leveraging their mutual strengths. ITCN Asia Exhibitions & Conferences have been playing a pivotal role in landmarking the image of Pakistan on the world IT Map, bringing in huge foreign and local investments in the Country.
The unique and colorful Inauguration Ceremony of 9th ITCN Asia 2009 Int’l Exhibition held today on
August 11, 2009 at 12.00 Noon with the “Multiple Ribbon Cutting” by Naguibullah Malik, Federal Secty IT & Telecom alongwith Dr. Khursheed Nizam, President, Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, Walid Irshaid, President, PTCL, Mohamamd Sadiq, CEO, Wi-Tribe Pakistan, Dr. Muhammad Yaseen, Chairman, PTA, Usman Sheikh, MD & COO, KHL, Pervez Iftikhar, CEO, Universal Service Fund Pakistan, Raheel Kamal, Senior Director, Global Business Development, Qualcomm Inc. USA, Sikandar Naqi, Senior Executive Vice President, PTCL
The Inauguration Ceremony was also attended by delegates.
Chief Guest alongwith the accompanying dignitaries and President, Ecommerce Gateway Dr. Khursheed Nizam then visited the exhibition halls and met foreign & local exhibitors.
9th ITCN Asia 2009 is being organized in 3 Halls, where over 130 exhibitors from more than 15 countries are participating. The Event is being attended by approx. 117 foreign delegates from Canada, China, France, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, UAE, U.K., USA and many more. A number of overseas Pakistanis are also attending the Event.
Entry in the 9th ITCN Asia 2009 Int’l Exhibition will be for only for Trade / Corporate Visitors through Passes distributed by the Organizers. More than 45,000 Trade visitors are expected to visit this icon show.
